After what seems like an absolute hellish eternity (most of the time) we are home. Back to 12 inch high leaves on the ground and our two cats. Back to gigs and work, which for me means the All-Michigan Beer Fest I’m doing at the shop on Saturday, and for J means the musical grind.
Before I dive head first into the Eat it. Drink it. Holiday Guide I’ve got cooking for you, I wanted to throw a long overdue congratulations to my very old friend and newbie food-fiend, Apron Anxiety. The lovely Miss AA got announced her book deal a few weeks ago, turning her kitchen calamities, inspirations, and everything in between into her very first book! We’ve known each other a long, long time, and if you’re not reading, you’re insane.
And now, I need to recombobulate and refigure out my surroundings. Get my bearings, if you will. And make a giant meal of something delicious and satisfying. Any suggestions for me?
